A channel of your family, on their television.
Not a notification to answer. Something to sit down and watch, made entirely of the people they love.
No card needed. Works on the TV they already have.
Thousands of families.
On the App Store, on Google Play, and on Foxtel Business IQ. You can start posting without giving us a card.
Three taps on your phone. One button on their TV.
No setup calls and no explaining an app to anyone.
You post it. She presses one button.
TeaTime sits on the television’s home screen next to everything else she watches. No password, no menu, nothing new to learn.
Everything on your side. Almost nothing on theirs.
That imbalance is the product.
Everything, in one app.
- Unlimited photos and short videos
- Invite as many people as you like
- Post from anywhere, at any hour
- Notifications when they have watched
- An alert if their TV goes quiet
- Private group, moderated by you
- One subscription for the whole family
- Watch the same channel on your own TV
One button.
No phone to charge, no password, nothing to learn.
Hear it from the families themselves.
These play from YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press one.
And from the people caring for them.
TeaTime is running in the communities these operators manage. Their teams see what arrives on the television every day.
It has become far more than an app. It is a lifeline, a bridge, and a source of happiness for residents and families alike.
This wonderful intervention has enabled families to stay socially connected with residents no matter where they may be residing in the world.
Our experience working in collaboration with TeaTime has been incredibly positive for our organisation, residents, families, teams and communities.
Everything you need to know.
What does my loved one have to do?
Open TeaTime on the television. It sits on the home screen alongside everything else they watch, so they press it the way they would press Netflix. There is no password, no menu to navigate and nothing to manage, and whatever the family has posted is already waiting. Setting it up on the TV is a one-off job, done by you or by the care community.
Will it work with their television?
TeaTime works on most modern smart TVs, and through Foxtel Business iQ in care communities. If you are not sure about the TV in their room, get in touch and we will help you check. We are continually adding supported devices.
Does the care community need to be involved?
Barely. Someone needs to set TeaTime up on the TV once, and that is the whole of it. You do not need permission and you do not need to wait for the community to sign up to anything. If they are already a TeaTime partner, better again, because it is connected from the start.
Can the rest of the family join?
Yes, and one subscription covers all of them. Invite children, grandchildren, siblings and friends, and they can each post from their own phone. There is no limit on how many people are in the group.
Is it private?
Yes. Only people you invite to your family group can see or post anything. Nothing is visible outside your family group. You decide who is in the group and can remove anyone at any time, and everything on the TV is chosen by your family rather than by TeaTime or by the care community.
What does it cost, and can I stop?
You can start posting for free without giving us a card. When you are ready for unlimited posting the family plan is $19.99£9.99 a month for the whole family, and you can cancel any time from your account settings. There is no lock-in contract on the family plan.
Is TeaTime included with Foxtel?
No. Reaching TeaTime through Business iQ needs an active Foxtel Business subscription and a TeaTime subscription of its own.
Two minutes to set up. Then just keep posting.
Every photo goes straight to their television, and you find out when they have seen it.
No card needed. Cancel any time.
